Electrical Facility Health Engineer

Position Description

With clients all across the country, Synergy Consulting Engineers has an open position for someone with Electrical experience to join the Facility Performance Team. If you have experience with building systems, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for you to advance in your career. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, teachable, and willing to collaborate.

What do you need?

  • Ability to perform Electrical building system assessments
  • Collaboration skills in working within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, ability to manage several projects at the same time, and timeliness in issuing reports
  • Knowledge in MEP systems design and testing, and the ability to interpret schematic designs

What qualifies you?

  • Located in Grand Rapids or Metro Detroit, Michigan area
  • Electrical Apprentice/Journeyman or licensed Electrical contractor
  • 1-2 years in Electrical Systems Design Engineering
  • Understanding building codes, architectural and engineering design process, building systems installation, performance and maintenance industry standards, and scheduling.

Within 1 Month You Will…

  • Start to work on Facility Condition Assessments
  • Travel to exciting locations across the country and providing clients with quality service
  • Join a tight-knit team intent on seeing your growth.

Within 3 Months You Will…

  • Put what you’ve learned to action by ramping up your workload
  • Work independently on the jobsite and build proficiency in report writing
  • Become proficient in utilizing the software to perform Facility Condition Assessments

Within 6-12 Months You Will…

  • Contribute to the team by mastering the skills of the role
  • Grow in proficiency by adding continuing education to your skill set
  • Ability to grow into Project Management responsibilities

Starting pay range: $50K-65K
