Our Facility Intelligence team thrives on data analytics, engineering, and optimizing the built environment.  If you have experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), Analytics and Fault Detection & Diagnostics (AFDD) software, and building data analytics, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for. What do you need?

  • Contribute and collaborate with a team of professional design and computer science engineers, interpretation of technical specifications, energy analysis, and navigating analytic software
  • Collaboration skills in working within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, ability to manage several projects at the same time, and timeliness in issuing reports
  • Knowledge in MEP systems design and testing, and ability to interpret schematic designs, building codes, and energy modeling,


What qualifies you?

  • Located in Greater Grand Rapids or Metro Detroit area
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architectural Design
  • Professional Engineer or on track for PE
  • 3+ years in Mechanical Design Engineering and data analytics
  • Proficiency with equipment sizing and load calculations, Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Revit, interpretation of mechanical and plumbing drawings, equipment submittals/cutsheets & catalog data, systems design reviews, HVAC, and life safety systems
  • Experience with building automation and controls systems
  • Knowledge in building data analytics software, interpretation of utility bills, technical specifications, and energy analysis
