Nick’s Professional Experience
After graduation from Grand Valley State University’s Mechanical Engineering program, Synergy hired Nick as a Design Engineer. Nick excelled in healthcare engineering applications while focusing on his goal to become a professional engineer. Nick obtained his Professional Engineering license in 2020 and now leads Synergy’s Engineering Service Team. Nick leads a talented core of engineers specializing in critical environment engineering including research, healthcare, and cleanroom applications.
Get to know Nick:
I would want to golf (and have coffee) with Tiger Woods. I would be curious to hear what drove him to be the best, stay focused and dominate the game of golf while incurring several obstacles along the way.
“Seek to understand who you are and be true to yourself” – Bill Blank (Nick’s Father)
“Attack each day with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind” – Jim Harbaugh
I wanted to be a meteorologist. In fact, I still want to be…there are a lot of similarities between weather and the thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat-transfer cycle in the field of mechanical engineering that always will interest me.
